About Us

Nick TicaricCentral Service & Repair is a full-service auto and truck repair facility that services both foreign and domestic vehicles. My name is Nick Ticaric, and as owner of Central Service & Repair, I understand that choosing an auto repair facility can be especially difficult. I hope to make that choice a little easier by giving you some information about me and my business.

My wife, Patt, and I have lived in the Lombard area for over 35 years. My children Nicole, Michael, and Jordan attended St. John’s Lutheran School, Hammerschmidt, Manor Hill, Glen Westlake, and Glenbard East High School. Patt and I have 6 grandkids and stay busy babysitting, attending ball games, gymnastics meets, and hosting big family dinners.

I have gotten to know and build relationships with many people in the community. Let me tell you, servicing my fellow neighbors and businesses in the area, along with referrals from our customers, is an awesome responsibility.

In my free time, I enjoy riding around on my Harley Davidson or visiting Atlantic City and Vegas to test my luck at Craps. I get enjoyment out of working with my son, Mike, who has been the smiling face in the front of the office for over 10 years.

Not many people can look in the mirror in the morning and say to themselves, “I can’t wait to go to work today.” I am one of those lucky few.

Our success is everyone’s success, and our constant training, seminars, education, and use of state-of-the-art equipment only strengthen our success.

Central Service & Repair employees are dedicated to our customers. Our technicians interact with the customer during the repair process. Our customers appreciate that effort. Follow-up, thank-you letters, and service reminders not only keep our customers aware of their vehicle investment, but have also helped our business grow.

We are active members of the Addison Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Better Business Bureau, Tech-Net Professional, ASA, ASE – Blue Seal, SAT. We also have introduced a self-critique system with ValueStar, a company that contacts our customers to obtain an objective evaluation of our services.

We have been awarded CarQuest’s Top Ten Shop in the Nation for multiple years, proving that we are leaders in the repair and service industry.

I take great pride in the many successes of our company. I attribute our success to our one-of-a-kind facility that offers a friendly atmosphere; clean environment; honest and fair repairs; up-to-date equipment; informed customers; and, of course, a great staff that share my same views of a successful business. Our customers are known to be smiling after every repair, return with any vehicle concerns, and tell friends and family about their pleasant experiences at our shop. While I always am looking for ways to improve, I can say with confidence that I have been doing things right so far.
